Agility is a mindset.
It works everywhere.

I apply Agile discipline to two distinct practices: enterprise transformation and structured support for families raising neurodivergent children.

Agility is not an IT thing. It's a thinking thing.

Agile started in software — but it was never about software. It's about how people handle complexity, deliver value, and adapt when the plan meets reality. Today these principles drive transformation across industries: sprints and continuous delivery in software, Lean and Kanban in operations, prototyping and user testing in product design, inspect-and-adapt cycles in healthcare. Wherever there is complexity, Agile works. The same foundation powers both of my practices.

Same principles. Same discipline. Two distinct practices.

Agile transformation that sticks.

Practical, hands-on coaching grounded in real-world experience across telco, automotive, construction, manufacturing, services, and technology.

Scrum & Kanban Transformation

End-to-end advisory at team, programme, and enterprise levels. Tailored to your reality — not textbook templates.

Kanban System Design

Pull-based workflow systems that reduce waste and improve throughput. Visualising work, limiting work in progress, and driving continuous improvement.

Supporting leaders through the mindset shift genuine Agile requires. Moving teams from coordination to true collaboration.

Neurodiversity Workplace Inclusion

Inclusive hiring, accommodations, and unlocking neurodivergent talent — where Agile meets diversity and inclusion commitments.

Practice 02  ·  Agile Families™

From overwhelmed to empowered.

Agile principles adapted for the most complex project of all: raising a child when the path is anything but clear.

When your child receives a diagnosis, everything shifts. The therapy plans begin, the specialist appointments multiply — but who supports you? Agile Families™ fills the gap between clinical care for your child and your own needs as a parent.

Because a heard and understood parent means a well-supported child.

Alina Magdalena Pilipionek

Polish-born, nomad since 2000. Enterprise Agile coaching across Europe and the Gulf — Agile transformation, Kanban system design, team coaching at scale. Bachelor's in Economics, Master's in Education specialising in Coaching.

In parallel, over a decade as the mother of a child on the autism spectrum. ABA and VB therapy since 2015. Multiple countries navigated. Master's thesis on coaching as support for parents of children with ASD.

Creator of the Autism CookBook — #FlavoursOfTheSpectrum, a blog sharing practical recipes, sensory-friendly meal strategies, and a continuous search for better understanding and flexible teaching systems — bringing together ABA and Verbal Behaviour (VB) to make them work in everyday family life.

Agile Families™ was born from the recognition that the methodologies I used to transform organisations were precisely what I needed at home.

The sprint that changed everything.

Years into working as an Agile Master across IT environments around the world, it hit me: the retrospective I facilitated at work was exactly the conversation I needed at home — about my son's therapy, our priorities, what was actually working.

In 2015, our son Achilles was four and non-verbal. We started ABA therapy. I was fully dedicated to his care — navigating appointments, assessments, and the kind of uncertainty no parent is prepared for.

Later, when I began my career as an Agile Master in IT, I started to see the parallels. The frameworks I was using to help teams deliver under pressure — sprints, Kanban, retrospectives, visual management — were exactly what I had been missing at home. So I started applying them. A Kanban board for therapy schedules. Four-week sprints for Achilles' goals — mirroring his monthly therapy consultations where we'd set new targets, train as parents, and review progress. Retrospectives to assess what was working and what wasn't. Something shifted — not because the methods were magic, but because they gave us structure that could flex, visibility where there had been fog, and a way to make decisions without drowning in emotion.

Agile Families™ started where most good frameworks start — not in theory, but in a real team solving a real problem. Our family needed a system that could hold complexity without collapsing under it. We built one. Then I realised other families needed it too.

Good questions deserve clear answers.

No. Agile Families™ is not therapy, counselling, or clinical intervention. It applies Agile project management methodologies — the same frameworks used in enterprise settings — to help parents organise, prioritise, and advocate more effectively. It complements the clinical support your child already receives.

No formal diagnosis is required. If you're navigating complexity with your child — whether you have a diagnosis, are waiting for one, or simply feel overwhelmed by the system — the programme can help you build structure and clarity.

Absolutely — and it's encouraged. Step 6 of The Navigator™ is specifically about aligning both parents as a team. Many families find the most value when both partners attend, especially for the 1:1 programmes.

The methodology works for families with children of any age. The tools and strategies are adapted to your child's current stage — whether they're in early intervention, primary school, or transitioning to secondary education.

Yes. Group cohorts and Navigator™ sessions run online. The 1:1 Intensive with school advocacy is tailored to your local education system, whether that's in the UAE, Germany, or elsewhere.

No. Agile Coaching refers to enterprise-level consulting in Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies. It's about helping organisations and teams deliver better through frameworks like SAFe, LeSS, and Kanban System Design — not personal development or life coaching.

It's a free 30-minute conversation — no pitch, no pressure. We'll talk about where you are now, what you're finding challenging, and whether one of the programmes is a good fit. Think of it as Sprint 0.

Let's start a conversation.

Whether you lead an organisation through change or navigate your child's unique journey — the first step is the same.
